Martin I. Isenberg, Esq. was a classmate of mine at The Central High School of Philadelphia, 230th class (1971).  We sat next to each other in first period Algebra I class in the 9th grade (1967-1968).  The teacher was Nicholas Grant.

Early in the school year I used to copy Martin I. Isenberg’s homework until he put his foot down and refused to let me see his homework.  Yes, I was a shakedown artist.  God knows how I ended up with a grade of B in that course!

Also in that class were Jonathan B. Belmont, MD, who went on to graduate first in the class; and Raymond Weisbein of recent bankruptcy fame.
