So I won’t be getting deported back to Antarctica after all.  My lawyer got a letter from the Immigration and Naturalization Service yesterday that read:

“At this time we have no plans on enforcing the notice of deportation dated June 29, 2012. We expect to get Mr. Freedman’s continued cooperation with regard to tracking down illegal penguins from Antarctica as we continue to work with INS penguin relocation specialists.”

Was I relieved!  I didn’t want to go back to Antarctica.  July is winter down under and it is freezing on the other side of the world!

If you recall I had written on June 28, 2012:

I’m getting deported.  They’re sending me back to my native country.  I’m from Antarctica originally.  They’re sending me back on the next flight to the South Pole.  I didn’t mean to enter the U.S. illegally.  I was standing on the edge of the ice one day at home in the South Pole.  A chunk of ice broke off and I floated to Texas.  Blame global warming!!
