From June 1981 to August 1982 I clerked at the Philadelphia law firm of Sagot & Jennings while a law student at Temple University.    I worked directly for Stephen F. Ritner, Esq. who practiced commercial and real estate law and Thomas W. Jennings, Esq. who practiced labor law.  I wrote the following memo during the summer of 1981 for Charles Shainberg, Esq., who specialized in family law.   Our client prevailed.  Our clients always prevailed when I wrote the pleading.  I never lost a case until Freedman v. D.C. Dept. Human Rights.  That really rankles me!
