Dr. Faimberg:

Thank you for responding.  Your book Telescoping the Generations confirmed something I always suspected about myself.  My mother’s father died in 1918.  I was born in 1953, 35 years later.  But I always felt that my mother identified me with her lost father who died when my mother was a child.  I struggle with depression and intense guilt feelings.  Your book clarified these psychic relations for me.  Thank you!

Dr. Faimberg:

I have been reading your book The Telescoping of Generations and it confirms things I always suspected about the influence of my family background on my psychological struggles.  I have written an unusual novel-in-verse titled The Emerald Archive; two themes of the book are immigration and nostalgia.  In fact, I quote your book in my own book.  You can take a look at the book in the attachment to this email.
