Professor Feigenbaum:

I first became acquainted with your work in about 1985 with the publication of a New York Times Sunday Magazine article about you. Despite the fact that I am a layman, I always remembered that article. May I interest you to take a look at an unusual book about Freud and psychoanalysis that I wrote? The text is in the attachment. Incidentally, I used to be a patient of the Washington, DC psychoanalyst Stanley J. Palombo, M.D. Dr. Palombo is the author of The Emergent Ego: Coevolution in the Psychoanalytic Process. In that book Dr. Palombo applies chaos theory to the practice of psychoanalysis.
